Our Setting
Big adventures for little feet — right here in Alwoodley, Leeds!
At Mini Explorers, we believe every day is a chance to discover something new. Our newly renovated, home-based setting is where children aged 0–4 years can play, learn, and explore the world around them — safely, joyfully, and at their own pace.
🏡 A Home Full of Wonder
Based in leafy Alwoodley, our childminding setting is warm, welcoming, and packed with playful possibilities. It’s a space where children feel at ease — like being at a friend’s house, but with loads of fun learning built in!
🌈 Explore, Play, Learn
At Mini Explorers, the journey is just as exciting as the destination. We follow the EYFS framework but deliver it through adventure-led, hands-on experiences.
Every activity is a stepping stone in your child’s development — and bursting with fun.
🌿 Outdoor Explorers
Rain or shine, we head outdoors every day! Our secure back garden is perfect for nature play, and we take regular strolls to local parks, woodland walks, and even mini ‘field trips’ around Alwoodley. Curiosity thrives when children are free to move, touch, and wonder.
💛 Safe, Nurturing & Personal
With just a few children at a time, your little explorer gets all the love, care, and attention they deserve. My setting is fully insured, awaiting Ofsted registration, and thoughtfully designed to support every stage of development — from first steps to big leaps.
